The Electric Field Matrix Online Corrosion Monitoring System (FSM) is a next-generation electric fingerprint wall-thickness monitoring technology developed by Zhongke Weier. It measures local corrosion conditions in a specific area using the electric field signature method. This is a non-invasive, insert-free measurement technique that, compared to online ultrasonic thickness measurement methods, enables multi-point wall-thickness monitoring and allows for real-time detection of wall-thickness reduction in designated areas. The system is suitable for online monitoring of corrosion-induced wall-thickness reduction in complex geometries such as straight pipes, pipe bends, welds, and T-joints.
