From November 2 to 3, 2023, the 4th Academic Conference on Corrosion and Safety in Petrochemical Industries was grandly held in Qingdao. This year’s conference closely aligned with the nation’s innovation-driven development strategy, taking “New Technologies, New Processes, New Materials, New Equipment, New Business Models, and New Modes” as its theme. Discussions revolved around critical topics such as corrosion and protection in facilities processing low‑quality crude oil, intelligent prediction of corrosion risks, corrosion control and monitoring & detection technologies, the research and development of anti‑corrosion agents, and corrosion prevention in oil and gas fields. Our company participated in this conference as a representative of advanced technology enterprises in petrochemical anti‑corrosion science and technology.

At the conference, Zhao Shuai, our company’s inspection and testing expert, delivered a keynote speech titled “Application of Eddy Current and Phased Array Technologies in Petrochemical Enterprises,” sharing with the attendees the application of eddy current testing technology for heat exchangers and providing a detailed explanation of phased array inspection technology for small nozzles.

The conference also hosted an exhibition showcasing new technologies and products for corrosion and safety in petrochemical equipment. At the event, our company unveiled its latest R&D achievements in corrosion detection—namely the handheld ultrasonic thickness measurement inspection system, the 5G-enabled online high-temperature single-point ultrasonic thickness gauge, and the low-temperature multi-point online thickness measurement system. Numerous attendees and industry experts flocked to our company’s booth to tour and engage in discussions.
