From May 22 to 24, 2024, the 15th (2024) Petrochemical Equipment Maintenance and Overhaul Technology Exchange Conference was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu, hosted by the Petrochemical Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Professional Committee of the China Chemical Society and organized by China Petrochemical Press. More than 230 representatives attended the conference, including senior leaders from the headquarters divisions of China Petrochemical Corporation, China National Petroleum Corporation, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, Sinochem Holdings Corporation, and the State Energy Group, as well as equipment management leaders from refining and chemical subsidiaries and oil and gas subsidiaries across the country under these five major groups. Additionally, representatives from several local refining and chemical enterprises, inspection and maintenance companies, research institutions, and equipment manufacturing and engineering service firms also took part. As a leading enterprise in advanced corrosion‑protection technologies for petrochemical equipment, Zhongke Weier was invited to attend the conference.
At the conference, 23 experts delivered outstanding technical presentations, covering a wide range of topics including corrosion management for chemical plants, major overhaul management, digital and intelligent monitoring and inspection of equipment, and safety management in chemical processes. The presentations featured both shared insights into traditional inspection and maintenance management techniques and proactive explorations of integrating equipment management with emerging technologies.
