Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond in Emergencies | Zhongke Weier Conducts 2024 On-Site Safety Training
2024-07-17
June 2024 marks the 23rd National “Work Safety Month,” with this year’s theme being “Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond in Emergencies, and Keep Lifelines Clear.” In response, Zhongke Weier conducted targeted on-site safety training for 2024. By adopting a blended online–offline approach, all employees participated in the training, which was delivered by Wang Jian, Manager of the Safety Supervision Department, who provided comprehensive and highly practical instruction.
The Necessity of Safety Education and Training
The training emphasized why continuous safety education is crucial for enhancing employees’ safety awareness and preventing accidents, helping them understand that safety is not a burden, but rather the foundation for protecting their own lives and property as well as those of others. Safety education and training are not only a means of raising safety awareness, but also a standard requirement under national laws and regulations.
Introduction to and Use of Personal Protective Equipment
Proper use of personal protective equipment (such as hard hats, protective clothing, safety shoes, gas detection alarms, etc.) can effectively reduce the risk of injury during work operations. Training ensures that every employee is proficient in selecting, using, and maintaining various types of protective equipment.
Safety Requirements for Direct Work Operations
The training covers common high‑risk operations in production, such as general work tasks, work at height, and confined space operations, as well as the unique probe disassembly and assembly procedures specific to Zhongke Weier. It provides a comprehensive and detailed clarification of operating procedures and safety requirements for all direct work activities, thereby reducing accidents caused by improper operations.
Guardians and Their Responsibilities
The training clarified the role and importance of job site supervisors, including how to effectively monitor work processes, promptly identify and correct unsafe behaviors, and ensure that operations are carried out safely. At the same time, it provided in-depth explanations for three key standards: GB 8958–2006, “Safety Code for Oxygen-Deficient Hazardous Operations”; GB 30871–2022, “Safety Standards for Special Operations in Enterprises Handling Dangerous Chemicals”; and GB 30871–2022, “Safety Standards for Special Operations in Enterprises Handling Dangerous Chemicals.”
On-Site Self-Protection and Incident Response Procedures
Train employees on how to quickly take self‑protection measures in emergency situations and familiarize them with accident reporting and initial response procedures to mitigate the consequences of accidents.
Through education and training, coupled with cautionary education, we have not only enhanced employees’ safety knowledge and skills but also improved their emergency response capabilities, laying a solid foundation for fostering a workplace safety environment where “everyone prioritizes safety and everyone knows how to respond to emergencies.” Zhongke Weier’s ongoing investment in safety management and education & training is a proactive practice that helps the company implement its safety production responsibility system, safeguard employee safety and health, and promote sustainable enterprise development. Looking ahead, we will continue to strive to create a work environment that is safer, more reliable, and more efficient!
