Good News | Zhongke Weier Has Continuously Been Awarded the Title of “Outstanding Inspection and Maintenance Contractor” by PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical!

Recently, at the Annual Recognition Conference of China National Petroleum Corporation Guangxi Petrochemical, Zhongke Weier was once again awarded the title of “Outstanding Inspection and Maintenance Contractor” thanks to its continuously deepened corrosion prevention services and meticulous on-site implementation. This marks the second time the project department has earned this honor, following its previous award in 2024.
Since its establishment in Guangxi Petrochemical in 2011, Zhongke Weier has been committed to building a comprehensive, end-to-end equipment safety protection system. In 2024, the team further enhanced its application of online monitoring technologies, completing maintenance on online monitoring points for 11 core units and circulating water systems. Through residual chlorine monitoring, sludge analysis, and tube corrosion testing on heat exchangers, the team continuously improved the efficiency of circulating water system management. Throughout the year, the team carried out fixed-point thickness measurements across 22 production units and storage & transportation systems, accurately identifying 148 potential corrosion hazards. Simultaneously, it completed inspections of cathodic protection systems for storage tanks and buried pipelines, providing reliable assurance for the safe operation of equipment. In response to sudden technical demands, the team promptly addressed temporary corrosion inspection tasks in the workshops, efficiently handling 28 corrosion incidents. Relying on Zhongke Weier’s in-house laboratory, the team conducted numerous analyses of byproducts and failure mechanisms, achieving a full-chain technical response—from fault root cause analysis to solution development. Based on the year‑long accumulation of process data, the team not only prepared detailed sub‑reports and summary reports but also systematically compiled multiple corrosion control manuals, optimized and upgraded equipment corrosion loop diagrams, and advanced the iterative refinement of the company’s equipment management standard system.
After 14 years of dedicated cultivation, the Guangxi Petrochemical team at Zhongke Weier has evolved into a core technical service force comprising experts spanning multiple fields. From its founding members in 2011 to the new generation of engineers who joined in 2020, the team has grown steadily while consistently upholding both technological succession and innovative vitality. Under the forward‑thinking guidance of plant‑resident expert Zhuang Xiaodong, the Guangxi team has gradually established a technical approach centered on “prevention first, proactive intervention.” The project manager has also risen from an initial water quality monitoring engineer to a core manager responsible for cross‑departmental collaboration. The service model has achieved a threefold transformation: shifting from passive maintenance to proactive prevention, from equipment monitoring to process analysis, and from single‑service offerings to standardized deliverables. Each step of this growth bears witness to the unwavering dedication and original commitment of the Zhongke Weier team over 14 years of diligent service.
This consecutive award not only reaffirms Guangxi Petrochemical’s ongoing recognition of Zhongke Weier’s technological prowess, but also serves as a testament to the fourteen years of collaborative innovation between the two parties. Looking ahead, the team will continue to deepen its research and development of intelligent monitoring systems and expand the application of predictive maintenance technologies, leveraging cutting-edge solutions to ensure the safe operation of refining and chemical plants and injecting Zhongke Weier’s innovative strength into the industry’s development.
