Zhongke Weier Supports Dalian Petrochemical in Conducting Corrosion Prevention Training for Employees

On August 23, at the invitation of Dalian Petrochemical Company, our company conducted corrosion prevention technology training for Dalian Petrochemical—specifically, an interpretation of the standard GB/T 30579-2022 “Damage Mode Identification for Pressurized Equipment” and a case study presentation. Huang Jingfeng, Deputy Chief Engineer and Manager of the Digital Corrosion Prevention Products Center, who specializes in research on petrochemical corrosion mechanisms, delivered the keynote lecture. Technical personnel from Dalian Petrochemical Company’s equipment and process departments attended the training.
Dalian Petrochemical Company organized this training session with the aim of enhancing employees’ corrosion prevention awareness and improving their corrosion management skills. During the training, General Manager Huang drew on the national standard GB/T 30579–2022, “Damage Mode Identification for Pressure Equipment,” and the international standard API RP 571–2020, “Mechanisms of Damage Affecting Fixed Equipment in the Refining Industry,” to provide clear and concise explanations of key topics such as damage modes, typical morphologies, corrosion factors, and corresponding control measures. By referencing and analyzing real-world corrosion cases, participants were better able to move beyond surface-level corrosion phenomena to analyze and understand the underlying nature of corrosion, while also learning effective methods for preventing and controlling corrosion.
In recent years, as awareness of corrosion prevention management has steadily grown across the petrochemical industry, Zhongke Weier, a leading specialist in corrosion prevention technology within China’s petrochemical sector, has been conducting numerous corrosion prevention training sessions for petrochemical enterprises each year.
