Researcher Zheng Liqun, Chairperson of Zhongke Weier and an expert in corrosion monitoring and detection, has been invited to deliver professional training at the 2024 MTI Asia TAC Autumn Conference.

From September 23 to 25, 2024, the 2024 Autumn Conference, hosted by the Materials Technology Institute Asia Technical Advisory Committee (MTI Asia TAC) of the United States, was held in Hangzhou. The conference on the 25th focused on corrosion control and corrosion monitoring & inspection technologies for refining and petrochemical plants. The event brought together experts and technical professionals from fields such as chemical engineering, corrosion control, and alloy development. Researcher Zheng Liqun, Chairperson of our company and a leading expert in corrosion monitoring and inspection, along with Dr. Xue Junpeng from Beijing University of Science and Technology, were invited to deliver a high‑level professional training session for attendees. Leading international companies—including Germany’s BASF Group, U.S.-based Eastman Chemical Company, and China’s Wanhua Chemical—sent their specialized management personnel to participate in the training.
The conference was divided into four thematic sessions: alloy innovation, corrosion prevention, failure analysis, and on-site corrosion testing and monitoring training. Expert Zheng Liqun’s training session at this conference was titled “Corrosion Monitoring Technology Solutions and Site Selection for Refining and Petrochemical Plants.” Relying on her profound professional knowledge and extensive practical experience, she provided detailed explanations on various aspects, including refining and petrochemical monitoring solutions, the scientific selection of corrosion monitoring sites, and practical applications. After the training session, Expert Zheng Liqun carefully addressed questions raised by participants regarding laboratory corrosion testing, engineering implementation and application, data analysis, and more, sharing the latest corrosion monitoring technologies and successful case studies.
This time, expert Zheng Liqun is participating. MTI Asia TAC The exchange and training session has facilitated communication between Zhongke Weier and its international chemical industry peers in the fields of corrosion protection and corrosion monitoring, while also creating opportunities for Zhongke Weier to collaborate with global enterprises.
